Two person tents are probably the most sold size of tents world wide. They are actually the tents that are most used by both one and two persons camping.
Most people think that one person tents are too small to be comfortable in if you go alone on a camping trip. Therefore they choose to use a two person tent instead. The weight is of course a little higher, but the comfort outweighs this by a mile in our opinion. There is exceptions to this. On of these might be if you are going on trips that lasts for weeks and you have a lot equipment to carry. Then you want to save as much weight as you can on the tent and go for the on person tent instead.
Most two person tents are ideal for two grown ups going camping. They have the size that makes it cozy and comfortable inside it.
